Welcome to my Portfolio — Sultan Almur

Built to Execute. Driven to Innovate.

To Accomplish — do. To Achieve — do it Right.

I'm Sultan Almur — a final-year Innovation & Entrepreneurship student who has always been more compelled by execution than by theory alone. My instinct, across every project and programme I've pursued, has been to close the gap between concept and reality — to take an idea from a lean canvas to something people can actually use, experience, or invest in. I work at the intersection of sustainability, strategy, and applied technology, and I'm most engaged when the work demands both rigorous thinking and the commitment to build something that lasts.

Currently: Preparing for my Emirates summer internship and final semester at HCT.
Targeting: Graduate programmes and full-time roles in corporate innovation, strategy, or revenue operations — UAE-based, with the ambition to grow fast and contribute from day one.

Core Competencies

What I Bring to the Table.

Three areas where I operate — and deliver.

Financial Modelling & Analysis

Three-statement financial models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow), break-even analysis, demand forecasting, and unit economics — built from scratch, not templates.

Operations & Revenue

Process design, workflow optimisation, and revenue operations frameworks. Experienced in identifying inefficiencies and translating them into systems that scale.

Venture Building & Strategy

From concept to financial case — AgriNova, OmniVolt, and SafeDrop were all built, modelled, and presented as real business proposals. I think in products, not just ideas.

What sets me apart

A capstone built for the real world.

AgriNova isn't a theoretical exercise — it's a fully-developed venture in vertical farming and sustainable consumer technology, directly aligned with the UAE's food-security and Vision 2030 priorities.

Tier-one brand exposure before graduation.

Joining Emirates for Summer 2026 places me inside one of the most recognized aviation brands in the world — a credential most undergraduates don't have access to.

Operator's toolkit, not just credentials.

Verified certifications across revenue operations, sales enablement, customer service, and applied AI — operational depth to support entrepreneurial ambition.

Projects

The Work Itself.

AgriNova logo
University CapstoneFounder

AgriNova · Vertical Farming & Sustainable Consumer Tech

Founded and led AgriNova — my Innovation & Entrepreneurship capstone project. A university-incubated agri-tech venture built around vertical farming towers and sustainable consumer technology, directly aligned with the UAE's food-security and sustainability priorities.

The project ran the full entrepreneurial lifecycle: from identifying the problem space and validating demand, to building the business model, projecting financials, and pitching to a faculty panel. AgriNova was not a case study — it was built as if it were real.

  • Designed the full business model using a lean canvas, identifying customer segments, value propositions, revenue streams, and cost structure from scratch.
  • Conducted primary consumer research through surveys and interviews to validate demand and refine the value proposition.
  • Developed a go-to-market strategy targeting UAE urban households and sustainability-conscious consumers, aligned with national food-security initiatives.
  • Built financial projections covering startup costs, revenue scenarios, and a path to profitability across a three-year horizon.
  • Pitched the venture to a faculty panel as a graded assessment, presenting the business case end-to-end.
OmniVolt logo
Business Intelligence SystemsE-Commerce & Analytics

OmniVolt · E-Commerce & Business Analytics

OmniVolt is a UAE-based e-commerce platform for portable solar power products, built and managed end-to-end as part of a university capstone course. The project spanned four phases: responsive website design, full e-commerce implementation, two weeks of live traffic analytics, and an ethics and security audit.

  • Designed and launched a fully functioning multi-product Wix storefront with integrated payments, product management, and mobile-responsive design.
  • Conducted two weeks of live behavioural analytics tracking sessions, bounce rates, device types, and geographic distribution.
  • Built custom data visualisations in Python (matplotlib) to present traffic findings professionally.
  • Developed strategic recommendations around SEO, social media timing, and customer retention based on the analytics.
  • Evaluated the platform's security and ethics posture across PCI DSS Level 1, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, and UAE data protection law.

SafeDrop · Smart Parcel Security Device

SafeDrop is a smart parcel security device designed for the UAE residential market. The product is a tamper-proof, weatherproof delivery box with a digital lock and real-time mobile alerts — built to eliminate the last-mile theft and missed-delivery problem that affects residents in villa communities and low-rise buildings.

For FIN 4103, I developed a five-year financial model for SafeDrop from scratch, including a projected income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. The hardware unit is priced at AED 999, supported by three subscription tiers — Basic (AED 29/month), Standard (AED 49/month), and Premium (AED 79/month). The model projects 1,000 units sold in Year 1, scaling at 30–45% year-on-year, and reaches cash flow breakeven within the forecast window.

  • Built a full three-statement financial model (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) projecting five years of operations.
  • Designed and justified a hardware + subscription hybrid revenue model with three pricing tiers.
  • Modelled unit economics including COGS, gross margin, and operating leverage across growth scenarios.
  • Presented the financial case to a faculty panel as part of a graded pitch — this assessment carried 45% of the course grade.

About

A Snapshot.

I'm Sultan Almur — a final-year Innovation & Entrepreneurship student at Higher Colleges of Technology, Dubai Al Nahda Campus, graduating in October 2026.

My focus is the practical side of innovation: how entrepreneurial frameworks, operational discipline, and emerging technology come together to create real value. My capstone project — AgriNova, a vertical-farming and sustainable consumer technology venture — is the clearest expression of that focus, built around the UAE's food-security and sustainability priorities. This summer, I'm joining Emirates for an internship that places me inside one of the country's flagship enterprises.

Alongside my degree, I've pursued verified certifications in revenue operations, sales management, sales enablement, customer service, and applied AI — the operational toolkit to support entrepreneurial ambition.

I'm based in Dubai and most engaged when working at the intersection of strategy, sustainability, and applied technology.

I'm not here to follow a template. My goal after graduation is to join an organisation where ambition is an asset — where I can apply what I've built, take on real responsibility early, and grow into a leader who doesn't just manage but executes. I hold myself to a high standard because I believe that's how you distinguish yourself: not by talking about what you'll do, but by doing it.
